Going by the "Bubble" breaches just around here as an example of a wider picture - if it's here in Chch there is no hope!

Also never seen so many people I have never seen before walk past with or without a dog.

Twice as many vehicles today as yesterday too! The same car can go past up to 10 times in a day!

You certainly notice more things when they are different from normal patterns.

People may be going for a walk and don't usually because they go to the gym etc.

I went for a run at 6 PM tonight. Wore a mask too..

They're working so flawlessly in Melbourne they've opened up another 3 this week. No Disneyland sized carparks..

Not sure why you think we couldn't be doing that here.

Right, So I didn't spot the feilding one. However now that it's been shown it makes a little more sense.

Booking systems vs free-for-all

The massive ones in the US were due to no booking system. It was rock up, They needed space to manage the hoards. And cut the line off at the back. I see here they're still relying on the booking and treating it like a standard centre for a set amount in a timeframe. Little different.

I got the impression by his short quips the all-in was what David appeared to be suggesting.

From MoH docs:

The drive-thru site must be large enough to include adequate space for vehicles to queue for registration without impacting on other traffic, as well as parking space for at least 20 minutes during the observation period.

Northcote College is reporting a positive case among their students. 1100 on the roll plus staff.

Any links to the index case or out of blue?

At 930 there was more trucks than cars. (and an active mobile speed camera). On my return at about 3 there was more cars than trucks. (Often with 3 or more onboard) And a bunch parked on the grass edges of the entry road outside the locked gates at the Groynes. Who clearly weren't travelling locally for exercise.

Get a bit tired have having to keep checking the locations of interest list.

Can they not add a date and time it was added?

There have been at least 6 updates during the day today..

Won't your tracer app tell you if you were at a place of interest automatically?

It's still very interesting to see the growing number of locations this afternoon and this evening from the 1st Aug to the 9th Aug

There are still many unanswered questions about infection spread and it does make me wonder how certain they are that patient zero was the arrival from Sydney on the 9th. Why did they say yesterday their was no genomic match with MIQ and today when we hear about the positive cases at the CP they suddenly established a link?

Worth noting this evening one of the guys from the Coromandel pub saying nobody there has had results back yet.

I'm just assuming these are additional to the ones reported my MoH?

9 hours in the queue, and turned away just now.  3rd day of trying.  She's sick, and has been in the stores listed of places of interest on the same day but not the same times.  She's gutted.  There's a limit, this is probably it.  Our local facebook group had a bunch of people in the same queue posting snaps and saying they're not sick but just checking.

Totally gutted.

Only option now is to call your GP. Apparently going via your GP is the better option.

I didn't catch the dates, but there was still 3 positives (from NSW?) among the timeframe that hadn't had the whole sequence done. Which this link may have been a part of

Which I found odd, as previously basically everyone who had been transferred to jetpark had been sequenced for world dbase recording I had thought. So perhaps it was moved to some random-ness and this local case changed the urgency of the ones missed.

/edit Wed they did say they check all border positives. Might need to go re-watch them to find the missing link

Locations of interest now predate the alleged link source.

So I think nobody knows
