Common misconception with AVers

mRNA studies have been in the lab since as early as 2012/2014

Not just 6 months. But years, of under funded lab tests

Covid-SARS2 comes along. And suddenly there is billions thrown at it. Labs are quadrupled in size. More scientists.

Stuff happens faster.

Like the infinite monkey theory. Throw enough money and resources at stuff. It happens quicker.

Elon is proof of that.

mRNA has actually been studied since the late 80s.

Lots of the groundwork was done in the 90s looking for the cure to HIV and in the 00s to try to cure cancer.

They have been using it on people from the mid 00s.

Tail upon tail upon tail..

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/covid-19-coronavirus-delta-outbreak-more-supermarkets-linked-to-positive-cases-one-auckland-supermarket-visited-two-days-ago/SQG7WJJPTXKPCBOAITTJQIVVF4/

The list also shows a person with Covid-19 was in the community as late as two days ago - on Tuesday afternoon - with a positive case linked to the Countdown Auckland Airport supermarket from 1pm to 2pm.

Tail upon tail upon tail?

We had 500 LOI's for the same type of reason. This isn't any different unless Im missing something

If someone has gone positive this week after being out 2 days ago, and the first batch of 12 day required from the first 'wave' close contacts are now done. Then this was a late change positive or someone that should have likely been otherwise protected.

You know. The whole, level 4 and isolation to stop transmission thing..

Sorry, ill try to find a badly done youtube video from a mothers basement choc full of easily disprovable "facts" to support my pre conceived notion.

It will only be valid if you watch it on the toilet though.

Side fact, i had someone on facederp claim that the CDC was a private business funded by Big Pharma as a "fact" the other day.

Cant really agree. We have had 160,000+ through MIQ and the escapees for beers etc is VERY low. This stuff always happens, but happily, its very rare here.

168,002 as of this morning, you're right. And, bar around 1000 of those, all have been returnees, knowing full well that to get into NZ, they were in for a staycation at miq.

Currently, there are over 600 people who are not returnees, that have been directed under section 70 of the health act to spend time in miq. These people are of a significantly different mindset than the returnees. It shows in their behaviour. Note I am not basing this on one individual.

Also remember that for all the security personnel - mbie/civilian/nzdf, there is normally only one person at a facility at any one time who has the legal authority to physically prevent someone for deciding to up and walk out. Every other staff member can only suggest / ask nicely. When there isn't a Police officer on the premise, there is absolutely nothing that the staff can do to prevent someone from leaving.

This is the epitome of high trust.

Yes, i knew it had been studied for a while and thought the earlier coronaviruses (bird flu, swine flu etc) had kicked it off, but no, it was alot earlier than all that.

" the advice is to just be careful and watch for symptoms if you were there at the time and place on the website, so no need to go and get a test, just for awareness."

It maybe my brain fog, the statement seems a bit whimsical, "just for awareness". Am I not processing it correctly....

They know 50%+ will not get tested regardless of flu symptoms.

I see the benefit of having the ability to do mandatory door to door testing elsewhere in the world, just not the rest that comes associated to every day living in such systems. :-)

Correct, even security guards and NZDF personnel have no right to stop or detain anyone, only the police have that power.

AVSEC have joined the patrols with police too. At least down here in canterbury they are being re-tasked once more.

Previously it was for isolation welfare checks and out of town tourist catching.

The 4th point, Corners were not cut in the clinical trials and approvals process, seems to be the other main fear/belief, kind of addressed in the link on long term side effects of the vaccine I posted.

Its reflected in a lot of people I speak to, that are afraid of the vaccine more than the virus.

Also in the frustrations of scientists, with Poli's and other institutes with such thoughts.

Oh dear. Our 'escapee' is a I video everything with the police involved guy.

There's now video on the NZH story confronting them in boilersuits. While cursing because he isn't symptomatic.

Stuff is running with he was picked up by someone else also.

Yes, it is. My point was that we have had a very very snal number of escapee's and leaks, I find that quite impressive. It could easily have been a news article every week, but its worked well.

I get what you mean. My wife is Chinese, stories that they go each day to check on you, you MUST stay inside (not terrible as they all live in apartments) One dude took off, nabbed and carted to prison. It clearly works. They can cut down Covid in the many 10 million + cities just like that. But you can't have everything. Here, if we enforced a minuscule of that the world will end, but I feel our Kiwi culture is compliant enough to manage what we have done.
