The pages were all edited early on to remove the '2 family groups can join bubbles' flaw that allowed more inter mingling since it was clearly a 'thing' in the north. And enforce you should still remain small.

It may be seen as a 'flaw' but people in Auckland have been without wider family support for weeks longer than anyone else now. At some point that is just verging on impossible for people to manage, and the mental health support work-arounds would kick in so that people aren't facing breakdowns in the absence of whanau support networks.

Govt needs to stop talking about "the long tail". It's a tail without an end.

BS. They are doing a flip flop around elimination. 6 weeks still with cases.

If the vaccination stroll out was more of a rollout then we wouldn't be where we are today.

Govt just kept celebrating how well they did with Covid and did nothing of significance until this latest outbreak.

100% agree. When an area goes to Level 4, stay in your bubble. For some the bubble is spouse and kids, but some bubbles need support people. If that meant 3 households were one bubble, it really doesn't matter if its one street address or three, its one inclusive bubble. Its the same deal and same compliance as I see it.

I'm talking level 3 guidelines.

If they move to it, it's still level 4. It WAS you could extend bubbles. That was struck off when it was found there was these subclusters being generated.

At Alert Level 3, you legally must stay within your household bubble whenever you are not at work or school.

Your household bubble is the group of people you have day-to-day, physical contact with. At Alert Level 3, it includes the people you live with and, if necessary, close family, isolated people or caregivers. You must keep your bubble as small as possible.

You cannot invite friends, whānau and extended family who are not in your bubble to your home.

It was front and centre, but is now buried about bringing in extensions. However they are meant to be exclusive extensions.  But they're not being exclusive even under 4

I have a family member who works for Air NZ.

They are ramping up for this week, they have been given the impression or been directly told itll be level 3.

With 20+ cases today, three unlinked, i feel this is a mistake. We will be back to level 4.

Also destiny church members are all over community groups on facederp pushing antivaxx and anti lockdown rubbish.

So the level 3 guidelines no longer allow households to merge bubbles as well? Given we're looking at least two weeks of L3, possibly more, that's going to be crushing for some people.

Yes. The extended bubbles are a nicety, make people feel better. But GV is talking about support needs.

Always could for support. As long as it was exclusive. (added the clause to my original with link) But as we are seeing, that's likely not the case of how it is being treated.

Ala, was closed up. But not pushed. Meant to be ringfenced. not extended, to these two, and these two, who other members also visit these two

You can extend your household bubble to 2 or more homes to bring in close whānau, caregivers, or people who live alone or may be isolated. Everyone who is over 18 needs to agree to the extended bubble. Keep your extended bubble close and small. If you have an extended bubble arrangement you can invite those people to your home.

You cannot invite other friends, whānau and extended family who are not in your bubble to your home.

The media/PM confirmed my theory, families have been mingling. Some of this could of course be around looking after children but something will have to change or we'll never get out of this until everyone is fully vaccinated.

Tomorrow is the official start of the end of elimination.

I'm somewhat glad. Cases will increase but more people will be motivated to get the jab.
