Since most tourists come to NZ for about 2 weeks holidays.

So if tourists willing to follow the rules and self isolate for the first 14 days. Will the Govt willing to pay the first 14 days of accommodation for them during self isolate?

Once 14 days clear and show no symptom & they can start travel in NZ with their own expenses.

A friend who work in the travel agent received this question from a tourist that due to come here but still not sure if want to cancel yet. At the end no clear answer for everyone.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

LOL. No the tourist pays to self isolate, just as a resident has to.

If you say so, yes. I cant keep up with all the medical stuff, maybe Hio77 can send me on a day off to do that :-)  But when I've heard Dr Bloomfield talking about it all they have timeframes for this and the next thing. IIRC based on the time they are asymptomatic, and the time they are symptomatic, as to where the safe and bad period is. They seem to have a handle on it

We are paying a lot of money for medical experts etc, we need to trust them to do their work. It is like folks that go to the doctor then consult doctor Google to check the doctors advice.

I think 48 hours allows them to contact trace and test, clean etc, and if theres another positive or suspected case it would be extended.

So long as you're capable of sorting wheat from chaff - I'd highly recommend that you do consult Dr Google to check if you're unsure of anything at all about what a Dr says - then ask them questions and don't give up until you're satisfied. If a doctor has a problem with that - then change doctor.

Hole in 1. (it was in todays update video)

As an aside. If student was symptomatic, that's not cool. It's been longer than Saturday (even as part of the early flu campaign start) that we've been warned to clean hands, and not go anywhere if unwell or in contact with someone who's recently been overseas.
