Felt sick on Sunday evening and today, finally tested positive on some VERY expired kits.

Interesting that it took you five tries to get there though! How long in between?

With expired RATs that's not surprising,

You'll need a larger viral load to make a visible positive given the reagents are likely degraded...

Did my periodic RAT test just then, still negative thankfully.

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. I finally managed to book a Covid Vaccine Booster appt near me for tomorrow.

The place I got the last four boosters no longer does them.

Apparently it's for the "latest" strain.

Same here, the 7 Day Pharmacy where they know everyone no longer does it so I had to fall back to the number-please Chemist Warehouse.

In terms of the latest version, anything after 20 Jan will be that, they sent out the new batches before the 20th and released them for use on that day.

Got my booster at Church Corner Woolworths Pharmacy.

Great service from them.

However on leaving going through a checkout and saying to the lady there that I had a covid booster only,

she moved back and said "Say away from me!"

Not the reaction I was expecting!

Was she a pharmacy employee or a bystander?

Not surprising unfortunately. I know of people who refused to be treated by doctors who had been vaccinated. Good luck with that

The local ear cleaning place turned my friend away from an appointment a little while back as they had just had a booster and were apparently "shedding". The school of Facebook teaches people some interesting things.....
