I have no idea what a Licencing Trust Area is. However, why is liquor they sell essential but nobody else's is?

In Trust areas supermarkets and shops cant sell alcohol. Need to buy it from a trust owned liquor outlet. Better to allow those that cant live without alcohol to continue buying it. I believe California made weed shops part of essential services.

Interesting how each country is doing it with the UK a bit weird..allowing construction (2 metre rule) but only allowing citizens to exercise outside once a day.

And eat that, Domino's. Don't re-open.

Unless they just stop cooking the pizza, then it becomes safe for some reason.

The only case of food poisoning I ever got was from a Dominos Chicken Pizza. Took me about 15 years before I could eat chicken pizza again, and even now, I try and avoid it with the exception of the one from Hell with the cream cheese and Apricot sauce.

Myself and my team have been so frantically busy getting all our clients home and working remotely, I literally haven't had any time to process the lockdown for myself and my family very much at all. We didn't really prep much, though we are extremely fortunate to be well-stocked as a habit. We will certainly not starve. I am so proud of what we have accomplished this past 10 days, but it's only really sinking in. Both my wife and I are considered as essential and we aren't really sure what we are doing for childcare if we both need to be out at the same time. We didn't have time to organize a "buddy" and grandparents are out of the question as they are elderly. I am hoping the plans get sorted super quick as to where we can take them. I am really hoping we don't need to take them anywhere, I'd be quite happy if I didn't get a call out at all.

Azzura:

Stanford researchers confirm N95 masks can be sterilized and reused with virtually no loss of filtration efficiency by leaving in oven for 30 mins at 70C / 158F.

https://www.reddit.com/r/COVID19/comments/fo0rpe/stanford_researchers_confirm_n95_masks_can_be/

For anyone wanting to try this, read that whole paper very, very carefully, there's a lot of stuff you need to take note of if you're going to be reusing N95 masks. The reddit discussion shows... significant misunderstanding of what the paper is saying.

You mention a "Pizza from Hell", I didn't know Domino's did a cream cheese one.

Trademe have an announcement on their website https://www.trademe.co.nz/community/announcements/post/1792/covid-19-update-changes-to-some-of-our-services

If you are selling anything you should read it, especially regarding pickup.

Just looking at @DS248's graph - thanks for these, keep 'em coming - and realised that the US will soon be #1 in the world. This means Trump's famous quote:

We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning

just needs a single-character adjustment, a comma:

We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick, and tired of winning

What I fond interesting from some of the graphs  were the death rates. UK's percentage is 5% which looks very high IMO at this stage. Whereas some other countries it is quite a low percentage. I wonder if part of it will be due to the amount of testing being done, so there could be a lot of people who have it, but they aren't being tested, and they also may be quite mild.

If you do little to no testing then your apparent death rate is high since your asymptomatic/non-recorded infection rate is much higher than you think.

Australia just banned leaving. At all. Still no support for the over half a million NZers stuck here, many of whom will be employed in the laundry list of locked down industries.

i think it's pretty much just in west auckland, where the trusts operates a monopoly on liquor sales.
