FWIW, the red line I put on this chart is the 17th July.  That's the date that the White House ordered that all Covid 19 data be sent to the White House instead of the CDC, and that data not be made public (The CDC still release figures - they were initially blocked)  The trend seems to be consistent across most states.

Hmmmmmm, what paper based mathematical formula are they using instead of actual test results now?

Covid-19 factor = 80% of actual, then eventually 20% (Or lower - must keep the graph going down) of actual around Election time?

Daily deaths in the US are still increasing. Bit harder to fudge that.

A friend from the USA sent me this reference that is very insightful - it says in part:

“The picture of #covid19 in America is really a picture of America itself— a country over-run by racism, capitalism, greed, toxic politics, but still full of millions of good people who want to do the right thing but are stuck in systems that they unfortunately helped create.”

No words. Disgusted at this position. In my opinion, money is all that matters for these people.

“We don’t really have a health crisis in New Zealand because we don’t have community transmission, we have a financial crisis that’s coming not a health crisis.”

How many countries have said that and it has blown up in their faces.

In defense of the article it was not inciting open borders. It was saying that we should bring back international students for example.

“I’m not advocating that we recklessly open the borders and allow people in. That would be crazy for our economy.”

I think if we started setting up quarantining facilities now we might be ready to let in a few 1000 students a week next year.
Should be able to get things properly sorted by Jan 2021. Charge them for for 14 days stay and get some money coming into the country.

"The Queensland Premier has announced the border will close to NSW and ACT from Saturday. All visitors will be denied entry except for rare exemptions & returning Queenslanders will have to pay for 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine."
