So I've picked up a 2010 Mazda 3 MPS and it wasn't exactly clean when I collected it.

It has quite a few stone chips/road rash on the bonnet and a side panel and also needs a good clean inside. As such I have a few questions for the car buffs out there.

I can probably clean the inside myself but haven't had a car that needed/warranted cleaning inside for a long time. Is Meguiars still considered a good choice for a cleaning spray solution? I'm not adverse to getting it professionally detailed first and then just keeping it clean myself. Has anyone in Wellington got a favoured car detailer they've used?

Also, as mentioned, the car has quite a few stone chips. Some worse than others. I've looked around and seen a few different solutions are out there but has anyone used one in particular that they like?

I was going to just get some factory matched paint from Mazda, dab it on each spot, wet sand them, then cut and polish to clean it up. This should totally fill the chips as opposed to the other solutions i've seen like the drcolorchip two/three part ones. Has anyone used them before and can comment?
