In regards to the sound I remember reading this and thinking it was quite sad.

This picture looks hilarious...

This was worth a read also.

I agree that regulating F1 to bring about innovation in street cars is ridiculous too. Anyone who is clever enough to design the regulations to cause innovation in a particular direction must already have worked out what is needed. There wouldn't have been the Colin Chapman aerodynamics discovery or the Cooper Climax or dozens of other discoveries.

But Adrian Newey whining about the cost of F1 is stupid... it costs as much as the teams are prepared to pay. If you totally regulated everything on the cars except the wheelnuts, they would spend a million dollars a race on improving their wheelnuts. If it was completely unregulated, they would spend a million dollars a race on all kinds of things, and the worthless would quickly get weeded out.

Bring back the Tyrrell P34 and the Lotus 56B!

Adrian's team is suffering big time from its powertrain reliability, he is anti hybrid ... now if he moans about it if they are 125 points clear and have no issues, then I will accept his moan.

unfortunately as with most things we won't know

(I'm not saying I am for or against this weird concept, but a losing team is moaning, well ...)

F1 is all about money and glamour. if you read all of Bernie's interview transcripts, all he is trying to say is "I made myself and a few people very very rich, everyone who follows me I will make them very, very rich"

whatever Bernie does, it's to maximise income for F1

No need to watch Mercedes, both titles were sewn up in Melbourne. Now, the "fight" with the Mercedes drivers will be fun to watch. Lewis is such a poor loser, moan moan moan if he isnt leading and having choice of stop, etc. Keen to see Ferrari and Red Bull progress

poor nico :D
if lewis wins the title (which I think he will) all will be well
but if nico wins expect world war 3 (even with Alonso and lewis winning we were at the brink of WWIII)

make no mistake, vettel is exactly the same breed. (remember Istanbul 2010, and the nail in the coffin for mark with multi 21, and everything in between)

Mark was at the end of his competitive career but he was broken by Vettel and RB. Vettel is nowhere due to his car, but once his car is sorted he will be the same. Ricciardo is punching above where it was expected, I can't wait for a problem free race to see where they sit. Ricciardo is happy and friendly, but he won't give an inch

I'm all for Nico now. It will be great to see him beat Lewis - will be such a good battle, shame it isn't shared across more cars though.

Ok... jules bianchi skidded and went under the tractor. Head vs tractor high speed. 4 hrs later no word no replay. Adrian Sutil who witnessed it in complete shock.

Not good.

Terrible. As of this morning he is still unconscious and had head surgery, severe head injuries.

Yes, judging by the fist size dent in the side of his helmet I'd say things aren't looking too good.

So stupid having these asia pacific GP's run till nearly dark. They red flagged it 15-20 mins before sunset, in those rainy/cloudy conditions it is crazy to run the race so close to dark.

Nothing to do with darkness. The reason for the crash was rain and presence of a tractor.
