Hi,
I can hear some interference in my car (renault clio) when i listen to music played from my handy but mainly just if the handy is being charged from the cigar lighter (two different charger is used, one of them is an expensive Hama charger to usb converter, and the problem is the same). I have made some tests to learn when the interference is present:
- battery ignition off - perfect
- battery ignition on - very small 'bzzzzzzzz'
- b ignition on + charging on - no noticable change compared to the 'bzzzzz' at previous point
- engine on - no hearable bzzzz i think because of the sound of the engine
- engine on and RPM increasing - no change
- engine on + charging on - disturbing bzzzzz
- engine on and RPM increasing + charging on - frequency of the previous disturbing bzzzzz is increasing
In similar issues the experts recommended different items for this issue to solve. These were mainly the noise suppressor and the ground loop isolator. I dont really understand the basic difference between them and that is why i dont know which item to buy. Could someone please explain me the differences and tell me which one to buy. I would be glad if an exact item is linked.
Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Sounds like you need a Ground Loop Isolator. Something like Jaycar part number AA3086 should do the trick.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

And here's the link. It's what I use for the exact same issue and they work a treat.

ETA: You'll be able to find something locally available. I'm on a smartphone so not in a position to start hunting eBay or sites local to you. And welcome to Geekzone!

I can vouch for this, just bought this product for a similar problem I was having with my car audio connected to my phone via an auxiliary-to-bluetooth adapter (kinivo btw 450) and had terrible noise disturbance, but the ground loop isolator removed the problem 100% for a mere $12. Fantastic!

It definitely sounds like a ground loop problem that you're having, this item should do the trick. If you take your car in one of the salesmen will probably be able to let you test it out to see if it solves the problem before you buy it, as he did with me, so you're not risking much.

I'm not going to get into how it works but a simple google search on ground loop isolators should give you all the information you'd want.
