linw: To be fair, it was the wind that broke his roof rack and skewed his kayak. Not nearly as good a story, I know, but who cares these days about truth and accuracy?


The retraction looked a bit dodgy to me.. I wonder if the truth was more like this:

"Stuff reporter sees picture of Kayak resting sideways on car and jumps to conclusion about reason"...or  "Stuff reporter just makes stuff up because that's what they do on 7 days"
