TimA:
Beccara: Interesting the ratio of power to sail!

Last thing you want is some sail boat.
Time is Money and when your stuck around waiting for wind its costing ya time.

Although the gods do not deduct from a man's allotted life span, those days spent sailing, what's with the rush?

I'd love to see any kite surfing pictures if anyone is in to that.  Or would this thread stretch to sand yachting?  The wind surfing picture on the last page was exciting just to look at.  Anything to do with adrenaline on the water would be cool to see.

I clocked myself at 24 knots during that session (GPS in my harness pocket).  Very exciting and satisfying going fast on a windsurfer, knowing it takes skill and some hard knocks to get to that level, unlike the idiotards on their jetskis.

Late 70's or early 80's FiGlass Firestar with a 90HP Mercury.  Strangely enough I couldn't find many pictures of it.

Previous owner disconnected the low oil level sensor because it was faulty....  That created a large hole in the water to pour in the money!

Otherwise she's been pretty good.
