DravidDavid: I daily an MR2.  No kids.  95% of the time, the 1 extra seat I have is not required anyway.  It's an awesome car to drive, don't think I'd ever sell it.

Would love the McLaren MP4-12C or a Lamborghini Murciélago to daily.  I'm sure I could make it work, although I'd need income to be so over-the-top, petrol would be a non-issue.

I'll get there one day.  I'll post it in this thread when I get there!

I would go Huracan over a Murcielago any day ;)

The Murciélago is a childhood hero of mine.  It was my first desktop wallpaper, many wall posters before that.  I even had one of those metal scale models with opening doors and working steering rack, haha.

I hope when I have the opportunity to buy one, it's not a case of "don't meet your heroes" as the trio often said.

Sometimes what you don't get is a blessing in disguise!

networkn: I would be incredibly surprised if you could use a lambo as a daily driver. I know a few people who own them (various high end super cars) and they say they are a nightmare to keep on the road.

Very true of the V12 cars, especially the older ones, buy their V10 brethren are far more capable as a daily driver - if you just want personal transport. Still short on cargo space and seating positions for a family wagon, hah :)

I've driven almost all the modern popular and widely available Ferrari's and I wouldn't want to drive them to and from work every day. Gear boxes alone are a nightmare, feels like you are getting kicked in the teeth during all fear changes. V8's included.

The Jag XKR and XKR-S were the big surprise of all the cars I've driven relatively recently, unbelievably good for the money. Not your old mans Jag any more! Probably wouldn't buy one, since primarily I'm an Audi guy.

You have no idea how old I feel when I read that a car introduced in 2001 is your 'childhood hero'!!

timbosan: Actually, I DO have a car I would like:

AMG GLA45 Edition 1 - The only SUV I have seen that I like:

I prefer mine without the "Edition 1" styling - getting good fuel economy too - 7.5l/100km

Current daily driver (not mine, company car):

Must be the 'cheap' 5 series though, no navigation and only 1 cup holder!

Normal cars are Toyotas.

Dream drive?  Will need to think about that one.

still deciding what comes next, cant make up my mind....

dream car?  i'd love to change it every few months... right now it would be the Tesla S with optional "ludicrous mode" upgrade. 0-60 in 2.8s and 1.1Gs,
