Can someone help me learn to reverse into a car park like in this educational video?

Just think how many car parks we could fit in.  Perhaps I should send this to Auckland Transport.

We don't need bus lanes, we need high speed reversing lanes.

While impressive, that technique would appear to have limited use in the real world. He approaches the car park at a 90 degree angle and then spins into it. So it appears it may only really be of use to parallel park into parking spaces located at the top of T intersections, or in other parking locations allowing a similar run up to your intended space.

Useless method, the curry would be all over the interior of the car.

I've found the handbrake technique especially useful for nabbing parallel parks on the far side of the street.

I’ve got 3 DLs - Russian, USA (Maryland) and New Zealand and over 35 years of driving experience.

In the Maryland Road Code 20 years ago there was a special chapter with pictures detailing step-by-step how to "parallel park" by reversing into the parking lot. That also formed part of the test for DL. It is so easy and makes sense.

I have the copy of that chapter somewhere in my library.
