kingdragonfly: Consumer Reports USA has issued a report, that you can download, by supplying an email address, that is not verified.
Consumer Reports USA found high rates of EV owner satisfaction overall.
In reliability, while the car category "electrics cars" were rated about the same as luxury compacts SUVs, while the EV SUV were bottom of the reliability rating.
2019 Audi E-tron
"in-car electronics" failure was a display screen going blank, while problems with exterior door lights in the same model constituted a "power equipment" issue.
2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV. Sold as "Volt" in Australia
"electrical failure, drive unit replacement, and other faulty components."
2019/2020 Tesla SUV's . Not model 3.
Model S: "electrical failure, drive unit replacement, and other faulty components."
Model X: seals and weatherstripping
The Model X's doors have presented issues from the start. In 2016, CEO Elon Musk said he was "not sure anyone should have built or designed this car, because it's so difficult to make."
Model Y: "much worse than average" reliability. loose trim and mismatched paint
I think the reliability stats are likely skewed by the models available in each segment (in the USA). In general, cheap, simple cars tend to be more reliable than luxury / prof romance cars with numerous complex features, and other attributes favored over reliability. Also newly released models tend to have more issue's than mature models.
Compact Hybrids / plug in catogory will have a great stats, based on the performance of the likes of the various Toyota hybrids in that segment which have a reputation of begin highly reliable.
Assume that the Electric cars category picks up a really diverse range, everything from Nissan Leaf's, to the polestar 2, to Porche Taycan's. Big volume seller the Tesla Model 3 had big issues early on in the USA factory, but seems many of those are getting resolved now it has been in production for a while.
In the Electric SUV space, many of the offerings are new. Large volume sellers the Tesla model Y, and Ford Mustang Mach-e both had high profile issues eairly on, and the segment is also loaded with luxury offings, the Jag i-pace has a partically poor repitation on that frount.

2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV. Sold as "Volt" in Australia
For clarity, the Bolt and Volt are different cars.
Bolt is a pure electric hatchback, that has only ever been offered in LHD:
Was fairly cheap, and had a 150kW motor and a big battery (2017-2019: 60kWh, 2020+: 60kWh, for 383km & 417km EPA rated range respectively) - I would have likely brought one if I lived in the USA.
Volt is is a plug in hybrid, but the GM marketing team used the term "Range extended electric vehicle". Its a small sedan styled liftback. Well regarded, won a bunch of awards etc.
Gen 1 was available as LHD, and low numbers were sold here under with a holden badge. There are also a couple in NZ, ex UK with wither Chevy bolt branding, or Vauxhall Ampera branding:
Gen 2 was only offered as LHD, and went out of production in 2019:
the Volt is not a hybrid in the sense of how you think it works
the petrol engine does not drive the car. it powers an electricity generator to power the electric motor.
