Ethanol fuel availability in South Island?

I am trying to research this and so far seems Gull is North Island only, and Mobil who has E10 98 - is only available in North Island.

BP 98 is mineral only. Shell don't do 98.

So does anyone (Mobil perhaps) do E3 in the South Island?

Some places will get it in by the 200Lt Drum for their own mixing and onsale. But thats it, no local w/salers

And even then its usually the more common 85 mix for racing

My understanding is that Gull buy their ethanol from Fonterra. Who in turn make it from fermenting whey. So try contacting them.

Go see Gull and buy 200Gal of E85.
Not cheap but you can refuel your car at your own home, Most likely cheaper than going to a service station (Hampton Downs)

A friend of mine who has a 335I with 500HP at the wheels has a few in his garage. Running E85 currently.

I was using a figure of speech saying contact Gull. Toll can carry the goods down or Mainfreight.
