Anyone out there has an old nissan gearbox wanting to get rid of as my one decided not to go in reverse lol

What is the model or even better the model number (all the info should be on plate on the firewall).

 

Also what gearbox type - auto/manual/CVT.

Assuming it is automatic, it could be the selector switch instead of the gearbox itself. Or it could be as simple as being low oil level.

Unfortunately with older cars, an automatic gearbox failure often writes off the car. And silly changes to the cert rules makes it way harder to simply do a manual gearbox conversion instead.
