Flat tyres are fun...I know others have found the process relatively simple, but I (and a few bike mechanics) had a lot of "fun" with getting my flat tyre changed and back on the rim over the weekend.

Luckily it was the rear, so I was able to get the wheel off fairly simply and after a few hours of swearing and cursing, took it to a local bike shop and they eventually levered the tyre back onto the rim and inflated the tyre for me...and I am back on the road.

Keep the pressure up in those tyres, people. My puncture was a pinch-flat due to the pressure being too low and a commination of my weight and the terrain pinching the sidewall and popping the inner-tube.

I'm now running at a shade over 50psi and will be putting slime in my tyres as soon as it arrives...

I hear you - got my first flat tyre (despite having slime in it) and the instructions on youtube were fairly straightforward but getting the tyre off and back on can be tricky. I had major problems trying to get the valve out of the wheel - it was too long.

Ended up leaving the tube in the wheel and luckily found the hole and patched it up.

I don't know what I'm going to do if I need to replace the tube - I think I might look at those solid tyres then.

Also, if a tyre has slime in it and you're removing the inner part of the valve, make sure the tube isn't inflated otherwise you end up with green slime exploding all over you (speaking from experience here)

an old work colleague (6ft) got one for him and one for his daughter. they love them and go everywhere. the range is awesome. i don't think you will be disappointed. they didn't buy from the link. cheers

My wife and I both have M365s and we love them. We have not had any trouble with ours yet.

I do however have an urge to buy a bigger more powerful (and more expensive) scooter.

Funny isn't it? You get the one that suits, then when you get used to it, you think...hmm, wonder what the more powerful ones are like!?

I have to say, I am keen on a larger one myself - something like the Dualtron Spider or the Inokim OX...but I don't have a spare $3-5k hanging around.

Would be nice to go along at 60kmh though.

I ordered mine from Amazon, as I didn't realise you could get it here.

I will definitely be using Supercheap for my next purchase (which I'll be using on my mountain bike and the kids' bikes)

Got another flat (front wheel). Pinch flat.

Managed to get the tube out - took hammering at the valve with a rod and hammer to get the valve out.

Now i can't get the new tube's valve back in - the stem is just too long. This is one of the spare tubes that come with the scooter

Any suggestions? Saw a youtube clip where they took the panel off the wheel (exposing the motor) but that seems a bit extreme.

I've ordered a solid tyre so I won't have to do this again but that could take weeks to arrive.
