I see these are on the wharf at Wellington, anyone have any idea when they will be in the showrooms?

No, but here is a good Autocar UK review showing the Jimny's capabilities

If you are thinking of buying one you may want to take a look at this.

Hmm that's an interesting one ... how do other cars know a guard rail from a truck's rear end (cue Tesla)

Swype on iOS is detrimental to accurate typing. Apologies in advance.

I freaking love the look of these little guys. The two tone blue one looks great. I would love one. Pretty sure they only have two seats in the rear unfortunately, like the Ignis(?)

As for these body kits. I think they are super cool, but I myself am not cool, so I don’t really know what other people think. I love the, ahem, “Little D” body kit but would struggle with the name! 😂

Hopefully something Suzuki will be able to fix fairly soon with a software update.  At least Suzuki design their vehicles with some thought unlike the old Lada Nivas.  (One of the worst features of the Lada was to have one windscreen washer bottle for the  windscreen and rear window.   Their 'genius' solution was to run plastic tubing all the way from the front of the Niva through the passenger cabin & eventually to the rear window.  Of course on the route to the rear window there were multiple opportunities for the plastic tube to be pinched or damaged!)

These look great! Very capable little vehicles as stock and even more so with a mild suspension lift and mud tires if that's your thing. Nice to see Suzuki sticking to solid axles all round. Short wheelbase makes for a pretty bumpy ride though.

That's a pretty normal way to supply the rear washer

I love the look of them too. Although I haven’t had a proper look I think they look better in person.

The wife’s car is up for replacement next. There is still some life left in the old Subaru yet. The purchase of one would also depend on what we replace the wife’s car with though.

Be interesting to see what the price is in NZ, probably more than the $20k odd for the current one. In the UK they are £15-17k.
