Put it this way, It will only happen when the AC is running. Given we are now going into winter you could just make do without AC and call it a day?

Did turn the AC up a bit to slow down the problem, but AKL's winter is not exactly cold every day.

And thinking the car have a problem everyday is stressful lol

Just getting on with making sure the drain tube isn't blocked would be a good start.

Have you checked the coolant level in your radiator? A leaking heater core could be another answer.

As long as the coolant isn't fresh spring water, you should be able to smell/see the difference in the water that has leaked out.

But I agree, start with the simplest explanation first. I'll have a look either tonight or tomorrow to see if I can see where mine is, been busy with the wife's new (to us) Subaru at the moment.

I had a quick gander over the weekend, but for the life of me, I can't see the bloody thing. Had AC running full noise cold and everything, but not a single drop came out.

I suspect that it is dumping into one of the under-body tray covers somewhere around the rear of the engine, but I can't see anything coming out of the firewall from the top or the side. If I get some more time, I will put it on some stands and have a look underneath, but can't promise anything.

One other suggestion is going to your nearest Toyota dealer and asking if they would be so kind to point it out to you on a parts diagram.

what do you milk the pipe with?

I wouldn't recommend sucking on the pipe, I just squeezed and pulled it with my hand .. wife did catch me doing it and I got a really weird look from her

Thank you all for your help, i took the car into a work shop this morning to unblock the pipe and water came out immediately.

Appearently the pipe was hidden on top of transimitor or some box like it, so there is no direct vision to where the pipe is.

Thank you all again for your help :)

cheers,

Sam
