That second one says its imported. no idea where from, if Oz then yeah it can potentially supecharge etc
edit - tho carjam says its NZ new and was pre-reg inspected in nz at 8km so yeah not actually an import
2 Owners in 25000 KM's. Interesting.
I almost certainly wouldn't consider a car without AWD nowadays.

They are usually demonstrators bought by first owner.
and some people like to have new tech and dont drive a lot
Etron is a solid traditional car, not the best range and will suffer with NZ's 50kw fast chargers, but supposed to be a slightly more efficient version coming?
RunningMan:
@networkn the Audi etron might be one to consider instead. Towing capacity to 1.7T (?) and doesn't have the other niggles you mentioned.
Sure, and an extra 3-50K on top :) If I could get one for $110-115 I might seriously consider it.
I don't want to tow, I want to attach a bike rack to it.
Can you not just use a roof rack?
Or seasuckers etc?
The Model X can have a Tesla approved towbar attached. A bit more expensive than the S as a new vehicle but there's this on trademe
someone just got a NZ made towbar and electrics fitted in Auckland for under $900 (model 3).

Not practically.
4 Bikes, all heavy mountain bikes, 2 of them kids one, lifted onto the roof. Sounds like a nightmare.
I found a couple of aftermarket options I'd seriously consider.
The i-pace was nice when I drove it, the boot is stupidly small for an SUV though, and I don't really want a big heavy thing with big body roll. I like my low to the ground performance station wagon, I just don't get why Audi hasn't done an A4 or BMW a 3 Series EV yet!

They're about the same price new as a model S.
BMW will have an i4 out in a year or two, expoect $180k lol
iPace looked ok if it had 500km of range and $120k, otherwise nopes. Magna have on thats 20% more efficient but Jag hasnt picked up the improvements, and they price gouge in NZ, launched at $160-170k + options!

I can get a decent S for around $110-115K which is a year old.
Yeah, the Jag is a bit of a rip and has a pretty small boot for an SUV.
Now that unfortunately, my German Shepherd won't be with us in a few weeks or a month or two at the longest, our requirements for a low to the ground vehicle and extra large capacity is gone, but two coming up on teenagers means I still want a fair amount.

If Oz, then fully supported by Tesla NZ (speaking from experience) even supercharging. If Japan, plug is completely different and not supported by Tesla.
