Hi peeps. Just checking if you have any recommended authorized 3rd party service center that can do Honda cars? Ours is due for maintenance and just got a quote from Honda Service in Northshore. Maybe there are other cheaper but equally good/better alternatives out there. Checking google in the meantime.  TIA!

How old is the car? Are you the first owner?

If so, stick with the Honda Servicing.

It was first registered on Jan. 2016 and I'm the 2nd owner (bought it Aug. 2018). Warranty wise, its until Aug. 2022. I'll most probably stick to them in the meantime. Thanks.

I would definitely stick with the main dealer until after warranty expires.

If you have issues post-warranty and are looking for any Good-Will from the manufacturer (or you have a potentially contentious warranty claim!), they will be far more inclined to see you right if you have service history with them up until that point.

Good points here. I agree and will just go with them for the maintenance at least while the warranty is active. Thanks guys.

I actually had two issues with my Ocatvia 6 months out of warranty.

Both minor in many ways, but fiddly to resolve and required some new parts...could have run nearly $2k, but Giltrap went in to bat for me and I got it all sorted as "good will" and didn't pay a cent. I had only ever had it serviced with them and they told me as much that it would count in my favour in their application to Skoda.

100% Agree.

I have a vehicle from a different manufacturer where I'm the 2nd owner and it's out of warranty, and I've used 2 independent service outlets in the past. Just recently, the vehicle required a significant (in terms of dollars) repair. I reached out to the manufacturer seeking some goodwill and was declined, and I think part of that was down to using independent service agents.
