Hi, recently we moved away from Welly, and in the past I just went down to TSS RedBaron in the Hutt and ordered and collected parts.

But recently we shifted to north of Levin so wandering down to the Hutt for parts is not really going to happen. I have three bikes to keep on the road (plus three cars, sigh) but current issue is one of hte bikes (RF900) needs a set of rear brake pads and master cylinder seal kit, all things I can happily fit myself, but just looking for recommendations for online suppliers, currently Bits4bikes seems the go, but can anyone recommend suitable online parts suppliers.

Cheers Cyril

I just bought a bike from here:

https://www.kiwivelo.co.nz/

Might be worth looking for your parts at this site.

If you're prepared to wait a little bit for parts there's a couple of good stores based in the UK:
- Wiggle
- Bankrupt Bike Parts
- Bike Parts

There's also Pro Bike Kit, they have a New Zealand version of their site but everything still ships from the UK.

Back when I used to race, I ordered all sorts of things from Pro Bike Kit, especially tyres as they were less than half the price of tyres here. That said, I stopped racing a fair while ago so a lot will have changed. A number of racers I know, and my brother, order their gear through Wiggle.

The RF900 is a motorbike. The OP won’t find much at Kiwivelo or Wiggle for a Suzuki.

Can’t help you I’m afraid for motorbike parts. No sellers on Trademe?

Hi, good point re Trademe, forgot to look there. Yes those web sites seem to have bikes that are missing key spec's, namely an ability to reach the open road speed limit well under 4sec's and 2.4x the limit just a few seconds after that :)

Don't knock pedal power. When I was a teenager any unbudgeted expense on the motorcycle could have me riding the bicycle for the rest of the week.

It's not as if north of Levin is the back of beyond. There are motorcycle shops there and you'll probably have to go to Palmerston North for other things anyway. If you are already dealing with TSS Red Baron have you asked if they would courier to you?

Hi, dont worry, I push cycle 30-40km 5days a week, so no knocking there, yes just contacted Red Baron, parts ordered and on their way.

@cyril7 have you tried eBay Australia? I have managed to get good cheap parts for my Volvo (I know - not a bike) from there and the shipping was reasonable.
