My ist 2005's head unit sometimes is out of work. I am thinking to replace it by myself, but I can't find manual on how to replace it by google. I suppose it can be diy because there are lots of video on youtube teaching how to replace and wire one.

 

Does anyone happen to know where I can find such a kind of manual?

You will need to find out what the NZ naming is, possibly Scion xA etc

As per tdgeek's post - in the US they were called Scion xA, so a search on that is more helpful for you - here's a youtube video that should be what you want.

A video is handy to assist with getting the head unit out. (my corolla had a screw hidden under a knob that you wouldn't know about otherwise).

 

With regards to wiring, Just buy a wiring harness adapter from repco or similar. For cira $45 you can avoid the hassel of working out where to splice each wire...

 

Typically toyota's have slightly wider than normal head units. So unless you brought a toyota width unit, you normally need side trims like these:
