Good to hear. Was thinking of purchasing as I have a long commute and the over taking is a pain. Can you set to overtake by itself without tugging the wheel or indicator?

It doesn't overtake by itself. The way to do it is to pull the indicator and then the car does the rest.

And as Obraik said in the previous message: Doesn't work on overtaking lanes. Or roads that hasn't been tagged as divided roads (aka, motorways). At least from my understanding.

Yep. It will work on some city streets that have islands in the middle of them though. If you're familiar with Christchurch streets, then those like Blenheim Road, Brougham St, Moorehouse Ave, etc.

I hope "will work" doesn't mean what I think it does.

Great. My commute is a long motorway run (Auckland to Hamilton). Constantly disengaging AP and re engaging is a pain. Prob worth $6k for that alone for me.

My only other problem is I’m waiting for a Model Y Performance which isn’t due until March. Since enhanced auto pilot is not transferable I will just have to wait rather than upgrading on the model 3 and then paying again on the Y.

On that inventory link, how come different prices for what appears to be comparable cars?

I am glad there are some used ones available again; would probably be the road I go down if I needed another Tesla 'in a hurry', as I don't think I can drive anything else ever again (at least at the moment)

Next week mine goes to the panelbeaters for repair (someone decided to merge into the lane I was in, while sitting beside them) and I am not looking forward to being car less for a week.

Are you going to a Tesla approved panel beater?

Anyone else just seen their delivery date go to something stupid not long after they have paid for it? I had December 5-19 in there which was okish as I would still have it for the xmas break when I will be doing a lot of driving but logging in today to see if I can schedule it now it is saying February 1 - 15.

The estimated delivery date from Tesla is their biggest guess'o'meter. Had it change so many times on me. I also paid early(ish) and found out later that you don't really have to pay until you have a set delivery date.

Its back to January 01 - January 15 now so hopefully it slides more towards December.

This is mad for something that said 3-5 months when I placed the order.

Yep; helps that my insurances approved panel beater is also a Tesla approved panel beater.

Well I have just got an email about delivery approaching soon so fingers crossed that means that something is happening behind the scenes. Not sure I can afford to go up to the cousins bach over Christmas in the falcon.
