kingjj: In Christchurch you'd need to add (in no particular order):

1) A dozen Woodstock
2) Obnoxiously loud stereo with poorly installed bass in trunk
3) Scantly clad young lady in passenger seat
4) Collection of everyday and special occasion hoodies strewn in back seat
5) Big bore exhaust held on by string/wire/chewing gum
6) Expired WOF/Rego tags creatively altered to look valid
7) Big hole where the springs used to go
8) Scratched up 5th-hand rims with bald tyres
9) Artistic scratches on mismatching body work
10) Over inflated ego (usually hanging out the side window and dragging along the road)

I'm sure more will come to mind.

I'm with vexxxboy, cop holders are essential. If only they made them big enough to hold a water bottle though...

You forgot the Neon Tubes, that serve no purpose at all.

Bugger, so I did! Thanks

Extras to add:

11) Cool Neon Tubes to help the Police spot you 3 blocks away
12) After market spoiler in case the car ever hits 300kph (assuming the modified RB20 engine doesn't explode first)

I hate those cars... spend more monet "trying" to make the car look good than what the car is actually worth...

It's called recycling, it's good for the environment. I bet you never realised boy racers are eco-conscious :-P

1. Radar Detector (it's nice to know where the five 0 is)
Dont bother, slow down. I was in a cop car once and asked him about the effectiveness of radar detectors and he said they work alright.....after the cop has pinged your speed.

Not true. Radar emissions are detectable long before they will return a usable signal.
Only way for the cops to beat a detector is by switching on and off standby mode.
Even my cheap (free!) 6+ year old detector picks them up from miles away.

Accessory items in my car:

Mp3 player that PLUGS in, never found a fm thingy that actually worked.
$30 bluetooth handfree thing. 1-day.co.nz special!
Aforementioned radar detector, only used for long trips to ensure safe to pass.

Thats about it really..... Spare tire and jack etc are NOT accessories, they are essential items and only a fool would be without.

Other non essential things that gather in my car....
rain coats (seriously found 3 the other day....)
empty coffee cups.
various car parts from my other cars (spare cyl head and twin carbs lived in the boot for 2 months!)
Numerous cds (but i only use my mp3 player?)
random car charger cables for who knows what...
