Thanks,

How are you using the DLNA feature? What's your setup?

Running a i3 server that has all my media content on it.
I use serviio as my media server.
This blu ray player is to replace my ageing apple tv 2.

how DNLA certified is a Win 7 + PS3?

when I used that combo the video always freezes when it is most exciting (it's like it knows that's the exact moment to stop working) so every time I see that four letter word I get turned off

Involuntary autocorrect in operation on mobile device. Apologies in advance.

I use Plex running on my desktop PC (Windows 8) and stream to my PS3. Generally no problems except with Cinavia protected content.

richms: Did anyone get a screenshot of that when they were for sale? Seems that 1day should be sorcing the right model for people if they had it listed.

Just a follow up to this, 1-day didn't really give any response on the 4G being advertised but not a feature. After a week of it being returned and a refund they finally processed it and should be refunded in 5 days. They haven't taken notice, as they advertised the S5 again, this time didn't list 4G under the bands but listed it under Speeds as Cat4 LTE...

Normally $299,  now $79 and looks fairly heavy duty compared to what we had...

Briscoes has a good deal on this Hampton-And-Mason-Platinum-3pce-Saucepan-Set

Thanks for the post. I'm on the look out for some new pots & pans. Especially after recently returning some rubbish ones back to Farmers!!

I never knew buying would be such a minefield!

It's worthwhile signing up for the Briscoes email updates via their website.

Since I started receiving their emails I've noticed a lot of their product range seems to be continually on sale.

They have 20-50% off everything storewide sales quite regularly and often have up to 60% off sales as well.

I reckon if a product is permanently on sale, it's not really a sale at all.

I think we should do what france do, and have sales at particular times of the year. That way the products would be sold at the best price most of the year.

Briscoes has been in trouble for this exact thing before - the same products nearly permanently discounted' by the same amount.

The Kathmanduisation/Briscoesisation of retail has lead to the point it's unnecessary if not stupid to buy things from many such stores unless they are on special; in the end the 'full price' is meaningless and fails to represent good value (witness Kathmandu things at full price). There has been a lot of complaints (understandably) from competitors to Kathmandu who have been forced into the same model just to remain competitive. I remember a large chain in Australia went under last year - it blamed Kathmandu for its demise.
