Have you reset your devices after changing the DNS in the router?

freitasm: Have you reset your devices after changing the DNS in the router?

yup, turned off/unplugged still no joy.  it wasnt all devices, but was the google tvs (maybe the ps4 as well... not 100% on the 3rd device).

EDIT: unotelly works fine on the google tvs, just the extra configuration step i had to do, once that was done, netflix works.

Dratsab: I signed up for the free trial,  put the DNS settings into my Sony Bravia then refreshed internet content. Icons for Netflix and Hulu+ are now showing so no need for me to buy an box at this stage as those two are the main ones I'm interested in. On the free month trial with Netflix which is streaming beautifully over my (VFNZ) ADSL. Will sign up for Hulu+ one my OneSmart card becomes active in next few days.

Big thumbs up from me to for the UnoTelly folk making an appearance here :-)

Have just come across your comment, and if its OK to ask, did you put the DNS settings directly into your Bravia TV or into your router ? I thought you couldn't put the settings directly into the TV, or is that because I just couldn't find them ? Thanks very much

I put the settings directly into the TV. The model is a KDL-EX720. I guess whether or not you can do this will depend on the model you have. For me, it was a case of going into Settings | Network Settings | Wired Settings | Custom. It does mean I have a fixed IP address for the TV, but I that's ok with me - I've set up a DHCP reservation on the router so no other device can be assigned the address.

Thanks for you advice, it worked well for our Bravia KDL42-W670A, though with wireless.  Also had to login to my Unotelly account and under Dynamo Settings/Sony Devices set the Country radio button to US. Then I could update the Bravia applications and get Netflix/Hulu/whatever. Incidentally, logged in to Unotelly again just now and see that the Sony Devices/US button is no longer selected, I assumed it would stay like that until I changed it again. Also did that DHCP thing you mentioned on our Netgear router, working well (I think).

Can't believe how good the picture is in HD on the TV when we're used to Freeview DVB-S (as we can't get Terrestrial Freeview, looks like we'll be using that Unotelly discount...).

Just wanted to ask, when you say your discount is 'valid for all our packages and duration', does this mean that its valid for as long as I'm a member ? I threw caution to the winds and joined for a year, applied the GeekZone coupon and indeed got 25% off, but the recurring payment, in a years time, is for the full amount, is this correct ?

Yes, that will be correct, unless UnoTelly run another special around the time your next payment would be due or they email you an offer.

That's fine, no problem with the price, discounted or not, just clarifying.

This was extremely useful, having been a Unotelly user for a couple of years! Was nice to receive a 25% discount as my renewal was due in 2 weeks.

Cheers Geekzone and Unotelly  laughing

Is the Unotelly discount still on? Does anyone know when it expires?
