I list this because it is geeky and on a decent special at $40 plus $5 freight.  Stock looks limited.  I have one for my HTPC and love it, and have used it on Android TV Sticks and RaspMC etc.

i bought one of these a few weeks ago (around $50 just from pbtech).  its a nice keyboard, but I prefer the older model since this one has function media keys (not sure what you call them) that are locked and to use the real F key you have to push the "Fn" button as well.  Alt + F4 still works, but if you want to use just say F6 you have to push FN + F6.

not a huge deal, but still annoying.  older model keyboard didnt do this.

Ahhh yes I see PB have this for $59 which is also substantially better than the $99 RRP.

I think jbhifi have had them cheaper recently or closer to that price.

Noel lemming has 30% off logitech for another 24 hrs or so. You can get the k830 for $105 which is the premium version of above. Micro USB charger illuminated keys.

1-day is selling refurbished. I would probably buy a new one for a few extra dollars :)

I have the old model of this, its called K400 without the r.
As someone pointed above. The FN lock for controls is a bit annoying on the new model but otherwise awesome keyboard. Long range too.

I am looking to get the K830 model when the price is right.

i wouldnt say the range was that good, my computer is 4 to 5 metres away from my couch, with nothing in the way (its under the tv), i often have to move forward on the couch to get a better signal.

I have a cordless phone next to the couch and usually a phone in my pocket, so that could be interfering some, but yeah its not the best range ive seen.  would be interested to compare it with the newest microsoft one (but thats about 30% more expensive)

These are brilliant. I bought one a few months back from Amazon (half price back then) but at $40 it is worth buying here. Using on HTPC in the lounge and it's great.

Weird.  My seat is 7m from the HTPC and the dongle is behind the HTPC, but I get flawless performance.

I measured the other day as we rearranged the seats.  The Mrs can't quite read the EPG now so I'm campaigning for a TV size upgrade.  :)

I have both the older K400 and a Microsoft All-in-one Media Keyboard

I was going to buy K400R for a new build, but the Microsoft keyboard was cheaper at the time.

You can buy the Microsoft All-in-one Media Keyboard for $43 and they are very similar.
