Hi all,

Only Domains is offering all students 1 free .xyz domain name @ http://www.onlydomains.com/xyz-promo. They say the offer is only for students, but filling in the form with a school email sends a generic coupon code to your email which I am happy to provide to anyone if they PM me. :)

Cheers,
P

probably not too much value in it, as you would have to start paying for it at some time. Who wants an xyz domain, I mean what do you use it for?

That would be an obvious one that the owner of the .xyz registry probably has. Probably the same with abc.xyz or 123.xyz :)

Only free for a year

"Each student who fills out the email form found on the promotion page using a valid education email address will receive a reply containing the .xyz promotion code, which will allow for a free one year registration of a .xyz domain of their choice. The promo code can only be used once per user account."

People will give away their information for a free shitty domain that costs US$ 9.99 a year?

Then you wonder why some students don't have a future and end up working at minimum wage. If they can't think...
