Ordered one of these and one of the Anker 40w USB chargers on the same order.  USB charger shipped same day and was here within 7 days via i-Parcel.  HP Stream leaves the next day, and sits in export warehouse for 5 days (2 of which were a weekend).  Grrr.

Guess I will be taking the Chromebook away next week instead for RDP into my office desktop.  Rats.  I like my HP Envy X2 too much to risk it getting swiped on the trip.  If the nifty little Chromebook went missing, I would be annoyed but would probably not replace it.

I had the same thing a few months back with a small metal kitchen appliance (no battery or power - hand cranked).  3 weeks later it had still not arrived.  i-Parcel were useless and fobbed me off.  AFter 4 weeks Amazon refunded me.  2 days later the item arrived.  4 days after that the tracking information was updated.  Research showed a lot of complaints about i-Parcel.

I've wonder about that on the other end when it arrives in NZ, almost all of my i-parcel stuff that has no battery clears customs same day and all tablets 2-3 days

For anyone who is interested I fired up steam for a laugh and installed call of duty 4 and counter strike source both ran rather well at around 40fps.

I was originally going to get an Android tablet, but I now plan on ordering this some time next week to get in time for Christmas. In the past when I've ordered from Amazon I've found that i-Parcel has very bad tracking, and takes forever to arrive. Looking at reviews online I'm surprised how well it handles Windows 8.1 considering it only has 1GB of RAM. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one. Too bad the selection of cases on eBay and Aliexpress is only those horrible folding ones, I much prefer just a hard/soft shell case, not a folio one.

Ok so I just bought one too then.  For some reason my order (shipping to Waikato) shows Grand Total:$109.69.  No complaints here, but will be interesting to see if they stick to it?
