Just got my first claim approved. Success!
They say potentially 28 days to payment.

Waiting on the second now.

Did you get an email, or did it just appear in your bank account?

Must be like a mountain of work to do these! Wonder if they Dodds that hoping people would forget to claim?

Surely it's easier if they just dropped the price! But then we wouldn't be being one for $5 if they did that ... So all good ... If/when it happens!

When did you submit the claim?  I submitted mine on 12 Jan so I'm not expecting to hear anything for a while :-)

That, or failing to complete the stuff properly the first time so they reject it and then its too late.

The number of people that think the thing from the eftpos machine is an invoice for returns purposes at my old work amazed me.

Can't remember the exact date.
I got the 1st printer a couple of days after ordering it, so very early Jan I guess?

loceff13: $9 after cashback

Posted this at choicecheapies, you can get it for $79 pickup at Dick Smith with a $70 cashback if you order today(online order > click and collect)
http://www.dicksmith.co.nz/multifunction-scanners/canon-mg5560-multifunction-dsnz-xp6560

Use the $20 off $99+ code(20BARGAIN) at checkout(valid today only), select click and collect to pickup at a local store. Shipping option is probably an extra $10.

The cashback on the model has increased from $50 to $70 as it's a new promo making it $9 after cashback.

You can do that again today with 20JAM. (Also yesterday with a different coupon.) The $99 price nominally ends tomorrow, but I'm guessing it'll be back, and coinciding with another $20 off $99 at the rate DSE seem to be having these things a few times before the $70 Cashback ends in April.

I've had my confirmation. It all looks to be well done. Far better than my experience with HP, which took over 3 months, and had to get the retailer involved, and was run by some outfit in australia which HP had contracted the cashback scheme to..

richms: Well since that page says from Jan 12th I suspect that you wouldn't be able to.

Incredible that you even had to state the obvious there!

Brother Cashback is the best in the world. Takes about 3 business days because if they don't have money in your account by 10 business days (after receiving the claim) they have to pay you the cost of the device you bought.

By the way thanks to OP for this. I missed out because JB had sold out online and instore they only had a demo which I didn't want. However I noticed that they were selling the MX726 for $54.40 before $50 cashback.

So managed to pick up this model which adds an ADF and it's going to cost $4.40 after cashback. Sweet :)

I have no desire for a home printer, but I did use the Canon cash back on a new digital camera
Submitted on 29/12, and it got approved 22/1 - so guessing 28 days from approval date and now submitted date.

$5 for a new printer is a bargain though
