Noel Leeming are currently selling until midnight tonight a crazy deal,

$229 for BOTH:

1x Sony MDRZX770BN Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancelling Headphones
1x Sony MDR-10RBT Wireless Headphones

The MDRZX770BN retails for approx $299 at Noel Leeming normally, and the MDR-10RBT for over $329.

I couldn't believe this deal but I picked them up in store today and they sound amazing!!

Would make a great Christmas present where you get one too!!

Probably an online only offer because the price returns to normal tomorrow...

Was thinking of getting the wireless ones as a gift, but really dont know if I want to put the cousins thru the hassle that is bluetooth on windows to get wireless headset vs just getting a USB one that is a sure thing to work when plugged in. I have enough headphones for myslef already, looking at the shelf full of cheap nasty headphones bought when I went out shopping and forgot mine. Usually bought around xmas time.

The Bluetooth is very painless and easy, but they do work through standard 3.5mm jack with the included cord if they'd prefer to use them that way?

With microphone or just as headphones?

Its windows that makes bluetooth difficult, not headphones.

I have these and they are bloody great :)
I use them at work and can't hear anyone talking to me which is the reason I purchased them :)

I bought the MDR10BT ones probably a year or so ago, give or take. NL puts them down to $150 every so often, at least they used to.

Still a good deal though.

Now worried if I should get a second set so the cousins get the same headphones and then sell off the crappier freebe ones. Hmmm

I'll just dollar reserve them "Unwanted Gift" seems to work magic on there.

Except when it sells below what people paid for them. It can be a gamble. Headphones are high margin things, so I can't see the stores making a loss at that price. Although it is quite a good deal from the looks of it, they are still just headphones, so you have to get someone who knows the true value buying them.

Well, I am still getting 2 pairs of the better headphones for a slight discount, so whatever the crappier ones deliver is a bonus really. Only thing that will annoy me is if noel leeming do the buy one get one headphone deal again, but last time anything semi-good disappeared for that deal or was on another deal so didnt qualify.
