was good for a local supplier (who don't have stock on-line at the mo, but still)

The Seagate 8TB USB3.0 external is currently $249NZ delivered from Amazon. Saw the deal on Choice Cheapies I believe and can confirm that this price is still valid.

That impressive. Pity, as I've just unboxed a 4TB version from Amazon literally 2 hours ago. Besides SWMBO would probably leave my rotting carcass for the (extremeely rare) NZ vulture if I bought yet another HDD...
