Looks like the ipads come and go depending on what others have in their cart.

Also the only reference I can see to excluding apple in the email I got is at the bottom talking about finance, not the list of products. iphone is excluded because telephone, ipods because audio, but ipad isnt genereally called audio even tho its just a giant ipod. I expect that you will be all good on the ipad.

Comments on here are showing that the site is making a mess of the discount and only discounting the cheapest things in peoples carts so watch out if youre using it.

Thanks. Bought 2 for $768. Got further $40 discount with the Warehouse Money card. Signed up to this just for deals like this. No annual fees. Saved further $40.

Generally anything like this will always apply to the lowest-priced item.  We just made multiple transactions to 'pair-up' the similar-priced items.  If a transaction is over ~$25 click-n-collect is free.  Makes a block of Whittaker's chocolate $3.72, which is great value :)

@richms 'Excludes Apple' is stated when you hover over the 'conditions apply' link on the iPad product page (on desktop browser).  Agree though that someone has stuffed up by still allowing the discount. Be interesting to see if they honour it.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable Stuff article around this.

It doesn't when you buy in store I have found in the past, they work it to give you the best deal rather than have to mess about putting things thru 2 at a time in order from most to least expensive.

Well its not in the email that was sent out, and its showing it on the category page under the pictures which has add to cart on it, hiding it on a detail page on a mouse over that a majority of people will be unable to see is hardly going to fly. I expect that this is an error. Either they didnt mean to sell the bottom spec ipads for the deal, or adding apple as an exclusion is just a template that they used in error. Either way its out of stock now so thats either their way of solving the problem or else they have actually sold out of them.

Everything I wanted was either an "assortment" or excluded (Lego) so couldn't use the sale

Good luck on getting cheap iPads
