I haven't even done my Christmas shopping yet but I've seen retailers advertise their Boxing Day deals! post them here ...

Now, am I in trouble or what, still haven't started my Christmas shopping! Well I guess I'll just make use of the early boxing day sales?

I probably wont buy either, but I'm interested in Iphone 8+ and a Surface Tablet/Laptop (13"). If anybody finds any good deals please post here, although I'll be looking at all the sites also.

Only thing I'm hoping to snaffle is a bargain on a 60" or bigger OLED 55" is too small

There are dozens of alternatives to the Surface that beat it for service, reliability, durability, and value.

We have greater than 100% failure rate (some devices have failed and been replaced more than once) among clients with them.

The HP 1012 G2, the X360 Elitebook 1030, even some of the Lenovo's are superior.

me too, am watching for the  LG OLED65C7T, price spy says smith city had it for 3999 for 1 day last month,

if i can find that pricing again will jump on one

if not will probably go for a sony with direct led and array dimming in 65 as a compromise at around 3k hopefully.

Im over Xmas, and its still over 4 hours away. Its Retailmas. I just got a Noel Lemmings email it looks like I can buy boxing day deals now, online.

Crazy.

I went to Walmart one year on Black Friday, 4am I think we got up. People with 5 toasters, 4 Gameboys, 3 TV's, 2 Mini Fridges, and a partridge in a pear tree

Call me old fashioned but the Xmas spirit seems to have gone. Im sure those with young ones are giving them the Xmas they should have, which is awesome. The rest of us its like BriscoesX!  (Or Briscoes +1 for those that dont read the FibreX thread!)

If I was in the market for goodies, Ill be checking mid Jan to late Jan. Cashflow is dead, out come the sales that pay the wages and creditors.

Have there been any that haven't failed at all? My surface developed some sort of weird video problem after the screen had been on for a while (possibily heat related), but it is probably too old now to do much about it.

I am yet to have personal knowledge of a Surface that has not failed. Earlier in the year I saw a report they were considered the least reliable device in the past decade. I never thought I'd be sorry to see the back of Balmer, but for me, almost everything in MS has been worse since he left.
