I purchased a 4TB Seagate portable yesterday with free delivery scheduled for Monday (got the SMS from DHL).

NZ$139 from Amazon with free shipping. NZ$239 from JB Hifi for the exact same model, NZ$219 at PB Tech.

Any chance of a link on this please. Am shopping for similar myself. Thanks.

While free shipping seems to be over now even paying shipping is still significantly cheaper than NZ. I noticed Warehouse Stationary had these on special this week for $189

Ive found that anything over $75 shipping from the amazon warehouse with slowest shipping selected has been getting free shipping

the costs get broken up as well so if something has to be shipped to their warehouse you pay the small shipping fee for their domestic shipping

haven't done it with any big items though

Has anybody managed to get free shipping to NZ in last 2-3 weeks? I am trying to order goods above USD150 from Amazon sellers, but don't see the option. Contacted CC, but they point to Int'l Shipping page.

Might want to avoid DS their shipping is extremely slow and after sales service for a DOA item damaged in transit was insanely painful. It too weeks to get contact let alone a resolution.

This is a reasonable guide...

https://mattgadient.com/2018/01/27/how-to-shuck-the-seagate-expansion-4tb-portable-stea4000400-and-why/

I did this myself not so long back, it doesn't matter if you break a few tabs cos you're probably not going to use the case anyway.

Just check the drive works first before doing anything that voids warranty.
