I've just starting with Hello Fresh, it's like a Bargain Box / My Foodbag, but personally I find this one to be nicer and easier to make the meals.

I have a code for a free 3 day / 2 person box, just PM me for it, first one to do so will get it. :)

UPDATE: GONE, sorry :)

I also have a referral code to get $50 off which will also help me get $50 off: https://www.hellofresh.co.nz?c=JONATHAN9&utm_source=raf-share&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=clipboard

Here's their website:

https://woop.co.nz/plans has some tasty plans. The $200 - $250 per week is making me choose HelloFresh for now.

What is your experience like so far?

I gave woop a try and find them too expensive for what it is, the meal sizes were not really on par as well.

The hello fresh is really good, will be using it for the future unless I hear of a new one to try, I've used Bargain Box and My Food Bag as well, with Bargain Box it is the cheapest option but the meals can be complicated and you need to do everything yourself which for the price is understandable. With My Food Bag it is fancier meals that cost more and can be a little more involved than the Bargain box meals.

Used to do Lite n' Easy in Sydney. 10 dinners for about A$100 at last cost. They were really good. Last order was Dec 2013. This was convenient for me as I was a night shift worker. I used them for about 15 yrs. Started off with the full service (3 meals plus 2 snacks) and then changed after about 2 yrs to just dinners.

Is there a similar 'Ready to Eat' meal delivery service in NZ - especially for Tauranga ?

We do Hello Fresh and I agree, their simple "most stuff in a bag" and the tasty meals really make it.  Big portions too.

The meals aren't quite as healthy from a calories PoV, but otherwise they're great.

@FineWine have a look at https://musclefuel.co.nz/ - I've done the "Challenge" and they're pretty good, made me lose some weight.

Thank you. They look very 'Portion Controlled' and the photos show quite small servings. The Aussie Lite n' Easy were calorific controlled but were always filling.

Had a quick look at hello fresh, no plan for a family of 5.

Food looks ok though.

The 4 person one may do a 5 person family, as sometimes the meals are big. but depends on who the people are. The quality of the food is very good, although I haven't tried the competitors products . Better and fresher vegetables than the supermarket, and the meat is also good quality.

The only one I am aware of is eat.co.nz, they deliver nationwide (except RD). Haven't used them myself. Currently using Kiwifresh (another MFB brand), and Bargain Box before that.
