Kindles are cheaper at Amazon. The basic kindle is (I'm told by camel camel) it's lower price ever at $60 with ads or $80 without ads, the paperwhite isn't far off that at $105 instead of $150 with no ads. The basic kindle looks to be pretty similar to the paperwhite model from a few years back.

Sorry to be basic, but can you link to these please?

Are these international versions and without sponsor ads at those prices?

Nice work @newb

It would be interesting if Mitre10 now drops their price to beat Bunnings and advertises it and then another geekzone member will go to Bunnings to get it even cheaper. let's see what the lowest price can someone buy the DeWalt set for today.

I paid $237.15 after they price matched at Mitre 10 Crofton Downs. never posted a picture before so hope that works

lol.. the real aim: Who can get it for under $200? Now go!

Bunnings now has it for $279.

Mitre10... not listed on their website.

Looks like Bunnings has won by TKO in the 12th, though both fighters punch drunk.

You can't get the ad supported Kindles shipped to NZ by Amazon. Never could AFAIK. You could try reshipping but with only US$20 difference not convinced it's worth it. I mean you'll probably save some money but how much? I guess if you're reshipping a lot and repacking maybe it'll be worth it.

Good news is the non-ad ones are at the same price as US this time, I believe they don't always offer the same deals. (I don't think they always are.) See Kindle Paperwhite US$105 and Kindle with frontlight US$80

The Kobo Clara HD is also US$100. It's not water proof and has a raised bezel, but has basically same screen as Kindle Paperwhite 4 AFAIK. Also has their adjustable colour front light if you're anti-blue light or whatever. Think it has Overdrive built in too.

NB links may not work as they bot sends you to Au. Try remove Au from the address bar.

Spotted Mitre10 says 1 Dec but can't see anything for Bunnings. Admittedly I've spent quite enough recently so I might not get anything more but if its both till the 1st it gives me more time to prevaricate...

Ruphus:

Sony WH-1000XM3 are down to $397 at NL. Wellington (Featherston St) were out of stock but are taking orders.

Noles has them for $359 and you can get $10 off for signing up to their spam list.  I got the sony store to price match (including the $10 off) and brought them there.  Got them in my ears now, loving the sound quality although I have had a couple of drop outs.
