I just got an Apple TV 4K (32GB) at lunchtime from a local Noel Leeming for $249.

Not because of Black Friday.

But because somebody had put the non-4K version price sticker on it. Doh!

$50 discount. Boom! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Did you know it had the incorrect price on it before you purchased it?

I couldn't possibly comment. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Geektress: Any chromebook deals please?

HM has the Acer C731 for 298 -https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/computers/chromebooks/acer-chromebook-c731-laptop.html
They do mention it being a "Student only price", not sure what that means.

The page does define it as:

^"Student” is defined as a New Zealand pupil enrolled in a recognised MOE K-12 educational institute . School may also purchase directly. Purchaser must provide NZ School Email, or Student ID. (ie .school.nz, or .ac.nz)

Jaxson:

Was trying for the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless M2 at $198 at Mighty Ape.
They've now sold out, but for a while today they changed their price back to $499 or so.
Next best is $299 at PBTech now.

Yeah, sorry about that @Jaxson, I bought them ๐Ÿง

...and they delivered them 'same day'! Courier arrived at about 9.20pm last night!

I have the Bose QC35 II and Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 too, but bought the Momentum M2 for work/*phone calls*.

This site is brilliant for digging into the details and getting some real comparative data - https://www.rtings.com/headphones

I really like the Backbeat Pro 2's, but @ $198 for the Sennheisers, it was a bit of a no-brainer!

;)

Yeah my issue with mighty ape was I could put one in my cart, but it was priced at $499 and not the Black Friday sale price. When I contacted them about it, they then went out of stock.

Hard luck. I guess I bought one of the only pairs they had lying around for sale at that price. It was good timing for me 'cause despite being a bit of a headphone geek, I was planning on buying some new cans yesterday morning, and my day started at 04:30, so I was on the ball!

FWIW, I had a great experience with Mighty Ape and I'm going back for more stuff ;)
