Just dealing with a good deal on some headphones that magically went out of stock and then resurfaced at a much higher price.
NZ is currently amass with huge sales where the prices are very similar to every other sale in the last 6 months...

DeWalt's NZ website is still stating Black Friday special of $349.

OK, I just checked again, and the email came from subscribe@dewalt.com.au. I signed up yesterday via the NZ site when I registered the tools. Clicking through on this email goes to the Australian site. So, it is just super poor subscriber/list management. /standingdown

Yeah that's kinda what I'm seeing too. Either deals that aren't really deals, or deals that may even be pricing errors. It's all quite rushed and a bit messy.

Is it them or seagate that are picky about power connectors when you schuck the drives? I tried the kapton tape thing and had it come off in my hotswap bay so not keen on doing that again.
WD are the ones who often have PWDIS. You could just get a 3.2 or higher compliant PSU :-P
Seagate are often SMR as kiwijunglist said.
In the US you can get 12TB WD's for $180 from Best Buy. Sadly I'm not sure if this deal is going to make it to Amazon especially since the 12TB is currently out of stock. Best Buy has some sort of special WD external (EasyStore) and often seems to have good deals. (The 10TB has been $160 a lot more often than Amazon I believe.)

58" 4k Veon for $499 this is a bit nuts, is the panel that bad? https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/p/veon-58-inch-4k-ultra-hd-vn584kid60-p/R2564724.html
No HDR and bad audio are the main issues I've found.
For example, on AppleTV streaming over HDMI from my iPad Pro the app tells me that my TV is not HDR compatible. The visual quality of the video then looks worse than 4K so I assume I'm being downgrade to FullHD.
Ecotank Epson ET-4750 - refillable ink and decent paper tray $589
https://www.heathcotes.co.nz/products/c11cg19501-epson-ecotank-4-colour-multifunction-printer
My view is that there is a $200 price markup for the refillable ink feature, over ink cartridge printers with comparable specs. But, given a full set of replacement inks costs close to that, then this is a good deal for $589. Good if you have kids and do a bit of printing from time to time.
I bought one from HN the other week for $650 -- HN only gave me that price because i was walking out the door and said they could not go lower or they'd lose money. Now I feel HN lied to me, because they are selling it for $600 today.
But, buy from heathcotes :)

Apple NZ also have Black Friday deals but they are being a bit cheeky as you get an Apple Gift Card upto a max of $320 so you have to spend it on an Apple product. 🙊
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
JB Hifi half price bluray movies for those of us who still buy them...

Veons have terrible onboard audio, and many do not have discrete IR commands to move directly to say hdmi2 with one command.
To compound the amusement, the IR commands for their sound bars (sold separately) overlapped with the channel up/down on the satellite box we were using, so adjusting the volume also changed channels.
Image wise they weren't too bad, and they came with a 3 year warranty, and the price is right as long as you understand the limitations/areas where corners were cut. I feel definitely the best of the cheap house brand offerings from jbhifi/hnorman and kmart etc.
mrphil:anyone been to harvey norman to see the price of the 65" LG C9? They taken it off their website
