billgates: Scored the Dewalt for $254 @ Bunnings this morning. Bought 2. It was cheaper to buy 2 packs for the extra battery and charger. Will flick off the skin only drill and impact driver and keep the spare battery and spare charger.

Just a heads up.. went to Bunnings this morning to get them to price beat Mitre 10's price of $299.

 

Bunnings said their internal system is now showing the new price as $295 now and wouldn't beat it.  I told them the website still shows price as $345, but they didn't honour the deal.  I asked them for a proof of the price so i could use it at Mitre 10. They printed me a "quotation" and said they can call them too to confirm the price is $295.

 

Went down to Mitre 10, and with a little effort with them doing their checks etc, they honoured their price beat.  I got 2 for $501.50.  There is a limit of 2 per customer.

Thanks.  It was your post that got me to drive down and grab them..  so thank you for sharing =)

 

The checkout teller at Mitre 10 said they don't beat prices on holidays, i.e. black friday as it was already on special.  They also said they don't match "quotes".  I had to talk to the lady at the customer service desk to try and get them to beat it.  I told them Bunnings internal system had the new price of $295 but it wasn't updated on their website yet.  They rang Bunnings to confirm, and I didn't have any problems from there.

Was trying for the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless M2 at $198 at Mighty Ape.
They've now sold out, but for a while today they changed their price back to $499 or so.
