Managed to also get one. Let's see if this gets refunded.

Not exactly a clearance price now. Think that is the normal price even though it has clearance next to it.

This product also say $5.75 then ctn, whatever that means. I wonder if they have website problems.  https://www.repco.co.nz/4x4-adventure-escape/load-carrying/bike-racks/prorack-2-bike-hitch-platform-carrier-pr3305/p/A6126940

Did they give you a refund and did they contact you? If you made a specialtrip out to pick it up that is not good. I was under the impression that if a store makes a pricing error, they are supposed to contact the affected customer and tell them they made an error and refund them as soon as they are aware of the problem. Not wait until you actually get to the store to pick it up. .

I received a notification that my order was being processed, then later I received an email stating that I had been refunded, but no reasons given. Very poor service and reflects what's happened when I've dealt with Repco online in the past. I don't think I'll bother with them again. No refund has shown up yet.

Source: https://legalvision.co.nz/regulatory-and-compliance/do-retailers-have-to-honour-pricing-mistakes-in-nz/

It was about a year ago that Repco had hundreds of items mistakenly priced at $20 online when they were supposed to be 20% off - some items originally priced at several hundred dollars. Me and many many thousands of customers took the opportunity to grab a bargain (most I suspect in full knowledge it was likely an automated pricing error).

I bought three items that were in stock at different stores across Christchurch - a set of LED trailer lights, and two different sized jockey wheels for each of my trailers. The first store honoured the advertised $20 price. The second store flat out refused saying it was a mistake (which I accepted as it clearly was), but I still bought the jockey wheel at the correct 20% off price because I genuinely wanted/needed it.

The third store said they could not honour the $20 price but because I spoke rationally to the manager, he offered the jockey wheel to me at their cost price as a goodwill gesture. He said his staff had been receiving verbal abuse all day from angry customers who clearly understood it was a mistake but were just trying it on - the kind of people who bought 10 trolley jacks or 20 car stereos etc etc. Those customers were offered nothing except their money back (or to pay the correct price for the goods).

I ordered mine for delivery. Got my order confirmation, but yet to get a notification that it is ready for shipment. Assume it won't be ultimately won't be dispatched.

Was really keen too. Had been eyeing up the 1400w Ingco unit from other suppliers.

Also ordered the bike rack late in the evening, for click and collect. Store opened at 8am, but I got a refund notification for that one at 8:02, and a phone call at about 8:20 with regards to that one (I assume, haven't actually got my money back on either, bother were priced the same).

Was mostly trying it on with the bike rack. If paying normal pricing, I would want a 3 or 4 bike unit (the child's bike currently fits in the boot, but at next upgrade it won't).

They called but I had already left home that morning and forgot my other phone. They asked if I wanted it at their $89 prices, I said no and so they refunded me.

I'm not too fussed but did state that they or head office should have emailed stating its a price error which they did not to me.

I also ordered (several hours later), the bike rack for click and collect from the same store, and I have been advised I will be getting refunded for that one.

Might be timing? I ordered less than 20mins after this thread went live.

I indeed feel lucky.
