Interested here in getting half as well! I saw the 50% renewal few days ago and thought of waiting till the end of my expiration which is first week of Sep only to learn that its not there anymore! TIA.

So I recently purchased 2 BOGOF Large plans for my wife and son and I, then sold the spare one. The 3 plans activated fine, my wife and son's plan are working ok as expected. My own plan seemed to have appeared like its deactivated on the second day of activation - the moment I clicked on my mobile number in the Dashboard (mobile app or web browser) , it will give "Something went wrong. Unfortunately something didn't go as plan. Please try again later."
That's the start of the agonizing chat support with Kogan. Reported it to them, tried simple troubleshooting, then someone said they will escalated to the support team and I will get an update soon. I checked with their chat support like at least 3 times within a day randomly to see if there are any updates. I got "sorry for the trouble, we'll surely get back to you asap..." something along those lines. Fast forward to the 5th day now that I can't do outgoing call, can't send SMS and data not working!...
Not sure what happened. I didn't have this issue the whole of last year when I got this plan for the first time. Kogan is good and really cheap when things are working ok. If there's an issue, man... Gooodluck! :D
One of the plans that I look after just reactivated using the credit card against the account which was unexpected. I look after 4 accounts, my own, my two sons and my fathers. My one has 2 accounts, and my son and father have their own account. I have previously disabled auto-renew on all of them as I didn't want them to renew automatically.
This morning, I received an email that my fathers account has renewed, charging the credit card $330 presumably. This is annoying as I have a code to use to renew it and was planning to apply it today. When I looked at the other 3 accounts, ALL of them had auto renew active that I had previously disabled.
Will try and contact them today and get this resolved, but just a PSA - check your renewal settings, mine appear to have been changed without my knowledge.
panther2: I've just gone to use the code to renew and it says unexpected error. Do I meed to use the new sim cards?
I'm also getting this same error this morning trying to redeem a voucher. The chat on their website opens at 8 so will have to try that.
Interestingly, my Kogan Mobile account shows a button saying 'Enable Auto-Renewal' (rather than 'Disable'), so I presume it's still disabled for my account.
I've put a reminder in my calendar to port away a few days before expiry to avoid any issues with this.
I renewed our BOGOF plans with new codes on 12/09/23, a few days before they were due to end. I'd already turned off auto-renewal long ago. All went well, but after renewal, I can see that auto-renewal is now turned back on. I've now turned auto-renewal back off, to avoid this happening next year.
