Tks. Just found that on Google, but not on the Lightbox website in TV Shows or search.


Yeah, currently we can't put a show up without publishing at least one video into it - pretty silly, I know and something that needs to change going forward. 


Although, you also don't want shows coming, in the way of the shows that are available. Perhaps a Preview/Coming Soon tab. I know there is a preview page, but no button/option to get there it seems. 

Just setup. PS3 app in my home works great, on wifi, router not far away, daughters iPad2 is on wifi from an extender in between house and her sleepout, and she says its excellent. Thats pretty good on an extended connection, she gets 4 to 8 mbit. 

Im getting UFB soon, and running ethernet to the extender which will be in her sleepout in AP mode, so that will tidy everything up nicely.

The other question, can the voucher code be added a few days later?

Hi,

Not an expert here (eligibility is controlled by Spark, we just provide the service), but I believe it's one voucher per customer number. You can apply that voucher to any one account you set up, though (names don't have to match between your Spark and Lightbox account).

Bobdn: Don't know what to start next and it's really playing on my mind.  I'm tossing up between season two of Vikings and Black Sails.  I only binge watch one show at a time, you see, so it's not a decision I take likely.  *sigh* no matter what I do in life, I still can't seem to escape pressure. 




Friday Night Lights is pretty good. We really enjoyed binge watching that one.

My 3 accounts are myself, and two daughters. Its not to get more devices as such but to get eligibility for the 12 months.

The app was working perfectly up until about 3 weeks ago when it just stopped. We can start the app, browse the shows on offer, however when we select one to watch, it doesn't load at all. Have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but this didn't solve the problem. Am not keen on resetting my PS4. Any suggestions? Oh it works fine on the macbook and windows pcs we have at home.


Try deleting the device off your account and signing in again. We're still chasing down what's causing this and similar behaviour from time to time.



Have done so already....twice now. Still no luck. I'm missing my Brew Dogs :-(.


Did you delete it off your Lightbox account on the website?


Hmmm not sure. It was my wife that did it. Might have to try again and see if she did it that way :-). Fingers crossed!!

Thanks to tdgeek, NonprayingMantis and richms for the advice on Appe TV mirroring.  Sounds like an inferior option!

Will probably just plug my laptop in as-needed.   (PS3/4 would be fine, but it is 'another device in the stack' and wife is unimpressed. Apple TV would have been relatively small and not that  intrusive)

Sorry, are you meaning a new PSN network account or a new Lightbox account? Bit confused here. And looking at the last time I deleted a device from the Lightbox account it said I could not delete another device for another 30 days. Is that correct or did I misread something?

He will have meant from Lightbox, but given this is an escalation of a problem for one user, I would assume he can remove the 30 day block for you, hopefully he will reply back based on this post of mine re that very good point

Yes I have this up and running, using Chrome as a browser though.

It doesn't get the picture onto the Telly though ...

Have you got an HDMI cable between your Surface and the TV? It won't do it wirelessly.

Yep, it works fine with an HDMI cable and mini-display-port adaptor, but this isn't a great set up for our living room.  Due to a lack of space for the cables and Surface near the TV it ends up sitting on the carpet.  If we end up running it off my partners iPad, then we need to use a different adaptor for that.

We use Google Play Movies via Chromecast and have gotten used to doing everything from the couch, dinner table or kitchen bench.

I've thought about a wireless keyboard, but that's just another remote cluttering up the coffee table.

Yeah, sorry. I meant a new Lightbox account. PM your the email of your old account if the device is registered to it and you can't remove it (due to the 30 day cool down).
