Re Lightbox warning that Chrome Browser will stop working with Lightbox shortly. I can understand why Chrome have finally removed the old Netscape stuff but do Lightbox have any plans to change their product so that we can product so we can continue to use Chrome?

Updating this thread - with some good news!

We're trialling a new HTML player exclusively on Google Chrome - if you've watched Lightbox via your browser before you'll probably notice that it looks a little different. The great news is that this player does not use Silverlight, so no more enabling plugins! This player is not 100% supported, so you may notice a minor bug or two - we'd love to hear from you if you do spot anything.

It's best to have the latest version of Google Chrome in order to ensure the best experience while using the HTML player

There is one key thing to be aware of - if you watch Lightbox on the same laptop/desktop, but use a different browser (i.e. watch an episode of Suits on Google Chrome, then later watch Better Call Saul on Mozilla Firefox), you will see 2 devices registered. The new player will be named 'HTML player' and the Silverlight player will register as 'PC/Mac'. If you reach your device limit, simply delete the player you don't wish to use. This is a temporary issue, but in the meantime it's best to stick to one browser for watching Lightbox.

If you're having issues that stop you from enjoying your favourite shows, we'd suggest you try using another browser such as Safari or Firefox. Or try another device.
