I am lost for words.
Give me a clue as I'm not sure which of the controversial issues you are referring to? Or is it all of them?

Primarily the decision to name DM as the form number 10 in the competition. I like the guy, I think he can be magical, but in better form than say Elton Yanjtes or Richie Mo'unga? Saanzar are an interesting group of people for sure.

Batman: Ok ok we know you like Moanga :)
I know you won't believe me, but it's nothing to do with the fact he plays for the Crusaders just for the record.
Makes for very interesting reading I think. There are so many factors in sport that as fans most of us have no inkling or concept of. It makes sense once you have the information.
I just watched the highlights of that game between the AB's and Argentina and Fifita was a beast. I hope they can restore his natural playing instincts and get him back in black to fight for his position.

Better for him to play week in week out in the NPC rather than sitting in the stand for 8 weeks being players number 25 - 33.
Can see RM not getting any game time at all and not being allowed to play in the NPC which will be an absolute waste.
It is not a good look for those that pay for TV subscriptions when 10 of the best 33 players can't be seen much.
I agree he should be playing. It was more just a general comment around how conflicting team requirements can hinder player development. Something I hadn't given too much thought to. I think RM will get game time. I think just being in the environment is useful for him.
I believe SH is right to take it slowly with him. I think we have seen players suffocated out of form by expecting too much of them too fast, something SH and Co seem intent on not doing unless there is no choice.
It will be interesting to see if BB can get some of his sparkling running game going behind the "rolls royce pack" in the Rugby Championship. I am not convinced Jordie shouldn't have been dropped, but I expect SH has a plan to try and clear his mind and get his discipline on track.

I think it impossible that RM won't get game time. Hansen has been known to manage players during travel, where he's fielded players against Arg by sending players who aren't 1st-string to Arg while 1st-string players go to SA for example. So he might do the same this year with RM going to Arg while BB goes to SA or similar.

I think last year they tried that and it was a miserable failure.
I've got no issue with the 'team of the year' - as has been said it's solely based on stats. Richie didn't even play almost half the season, and even then, stats don't always tell the whole story.
BB seems to step up when he's wearing that AB's jersey, this will probably happen again. The Canes forwards were going backwards flat out for their last few games of the season. Sound like a broken record, but this really does make a big difference I believe.
Remember the British & Irish Lions game? Crusaders forwards were getting beaten, Richie really struggled. Was forced to kick lots of ball away, wasn't able to make an impact. He's obviously matured as a player since then for sure, but still, I think Hansen and co are right to not rush him in to a starting role.
I do hope he gets some decent game time though.

Dingbatt: I believe that Mo'unga is the perfect replacement in the All Blacks for Sopoaga. Not the first choice first five, but a great backup. McKenzie can be a game breaker, but for either team. He profits in the All Black environment the same way as Barrett used to, as an impact player off the bench.
For that reason if Barrett is injured or rested, then Mo'unga may get his chance to start. Trouble is he will need game time before that happens.
I 100% agree with this sentiment. I am not one of the people who think he should be starting now. BB is still the premium test 10 in Rugby and I'll take him over anyone else right now. However, I'd like to see his running game back, and soon, because to my mind, this is his value to the AB's. He isn't a specialist 10 the way RM or DC or even Sopoaga is, more of a utility back who plays really well as a running 10. What we lose in his specialist 10 skills, he more than makes up for with absoloute speed.

Well, yes I did read this, but it did say they analysed every movement of every player in every game. Presumably, this means the forward passes, intercept passes etc as well. The guy is really talented but would be so much better IMO if he just took less risks.
