Going by Stuff, I imagine it will be there. I thought it was a 2 day process, seems now like it was 2 hours. Whether that means its bye now, or your staying lets move forward, hard to know

If they retain Foster, they had better definitely and totally support him regardless of results through the world cup. Win/lose/otherwise. If they can't do that, they shouldn't retain him. I seriously doubt they will have the integrity to do that though.

Regardless of what happens, in my view Mark Robinson is not fit to be CEO. I had high hopes for him, but he isn't up for this.

Im getting the feeling that it will be an issue if he stays or goes, so they may opt for a clean slate, with no immediate pressure to win every game, i.e. bit of rebuilding. Rightly or wrongly, thats the easiest way out, and not my opinion

Decision made: Foster stays, through to the Rugby World Cup.

Schmidt to be attack coach. Non traveling I presume, which does make for an interesting combo. MacDonald was a possibility, but I think it would have seriously set the Blues back somewhat.

I saw some chatter online about this. Just because the players support the current coach, doesn't mean they wouldn't support Robertson too. You can appreciate two coaches, and I don't think Robertson would have taken it personally.

I wonder what happens now with Robertson. I wonder if he has been promised the job after the RWC, or if they will open it up and have him contest for the job? Also interesting to know (though unlikely to find out soon) if the reason Foster was retained was because Scott Robertson didn't want the AB's for less than half a RWC cycle as it could go wrong and he wouldn't get a fair shake of the stick.

I expect to see a few more bumps in the road performance wise, though I hope there is no more chatter about coaches till post RWC.

Mark Robinson: Mark Robinson defends NZR after criticism: "We are trying our best for our sport and our people ... Sure, we never get everything right but at no stage do we ever not do what's best for our people."

Tieing off the loose ends with the help of the PR team. Main thing is they can "now" act as one and move forward. Robinson has tarnished himself, so he has that to smooth over

At least now its unity talk, lets hope it holds up

Honestly I think you should stop commenting on him.  You show zero ability to critically assess the media you consume which has lead you to this weird position of blaming him for everything.

I think Mitchells comments at the start of the press conference were telling, maybe worth re-listening, and then probably in your case re-listening again.  It is clear the media have pulled stories in directions and narrative as wanted when wanted, and these change from week to week.

I am glad to see a plan going forward that involves change, as 3 years after its inception it was clear the status quo was failing miserably, onwards and upwards!

Lol.

It was acknowledged by Mitchell that they had screwed this up royally.
