Yeah thats a fair statement.

Going back to what I was saying about targetting pinch hitters early on, NZ needs to seperate its test players from its T20 players and a mix for the ODI. Munro is a perfect example. Its a shame none of them could go on with it in the final, but that cricket. We will hopefully learn from it from a selection perspective.

And please somebody select Guppie for IPL next season. Thats a lot of straight lofts for 6 we missing out on watching,

Selection can only go so far we didnt have the skills to match ENG bowling the other night. The four specialist batsmen did fine, and everyone else failed. We weren't good enough. That ENG played the fourth of their five games on pace tracks while the rest of us were on spin tracks doesn't help. We were a minor 25 or so behind, not much when we were outbowled and out batted.

joker97: He shouldn't have been in the team. But he didn't make them lose. The team just wasn't ever going to be good enough.

Correct. Although he is occupying a place where a specialist batsman would be in. Thats a hell of a disadvantage.

Should be a cracker of a final and even worth staying/getting up for.

I was thinking that. Much more exciting than f1.

LOL F1 is O for Orsome

Ill watch the game and cheer for WI. My mate at work is Engrish, I said good win when they beat us, as they were too good, and then he started w*nking on about how rubbish we are!  So, go Windies!!

Don't know about Bahrain ... EVERY modern F1 circuit is boring as h#ll ... $%^!

WIndies double!

Seriously why didn't they play a spin bowler at the death I wonder. Easy to say in retrospect though.

Lastly .. umm ... 160 not 180

"Black Caps spinner Mitchell Santner's 10 wickets at 11.4 saw him make the World Twenty20 tournament team."
