Oh no Chapman. NZ were cruising until that sensational catch to remove Munro. This next wicket is crucial.

Not at all. Oh man. Could be up to the tail to save the day. It all looked like it was going along so easy.

Spin has definitely been the tale of the tape today.

More rubbish. I dunno why I got an email as I unsubscribed

But while I am here, ENG struggled on a bad pitch. Bounce, no bounce, a tough ask. Its now an easy pitch. So we should have been cruising but well;, read the scoreboard. Same as last two matches.

Yes, a pity. But I rate him. Poor decision making. but unlike his team mates, I will let him off, he has enough promise to suffer through this. He is an excellent fielder.

Oh man, we cant sack 4 batsmen. What are they thinking.

Master class from the Eng spinners then some really silly batting.

Perhaps Seifert and Phillips next match but they are both keepers. Which would mean Nicholls and Latham.

Just need Santner to forget about not getting bowled, be the man, be positive, remember his batting form and stick it out for another 60-70 runs and hopefully our tail can wag.

No master class, as the track is playing fine, just an issue between the ears as usual.

No Siefert and Philips thats avoiding the problem. Seifert has failed to date.

30 overs, 126 runs, double that, we win. BUT, 6 down, KW goes we lose. We need 6 an over from here, the current batsmen are at 2/3 that.

So, 5 of our top order batsmen scored 14  today, in total.

Some of them should be on notice, or rotation

Again.

Look at ENG batsmen they all contributed. The second last guy only got 2 but thats from 2 balls

Look at NZ, again, 3 people scored the runs. 5 of our top batsmen scored 14 in total. The third game like this.

Three almost identical games. Maybe a coincidence, maybe a mindset

Kane was ok with the batting and middle order. Could have batted smarter.

No one is taking any responsibility. Aside from the latest batting failure, the first innings was very difficult, but the pitch flattened out. The second innings was without the difficulties of the first. That the game went to the last ball made the game a thriller, but it heavily flattered us

Well a nail biting finish. But the WASP had it right
Interesting piece of body language as Williamson left the field at the end as his teammates filed out to congratulate the England team. He walked straight ahead and half the team didn't dare make eye contact.
I actually think they should have sent Boult in before Sodhi. But Guptill. Chapman, Latham and Nicholls certainly didn't earn their performance bonus tonight.
The freakish run-out of Santner was what finally sunk the Blackcap's chase.

Agree but unfortunately there isn't the depth for this. Some of the top order are just shameful. While it's fair to say Williamson was 'solid' and 'was let down by the top order' he still needs a kicking for some poor decision making.

The Black Caps snatched a defeat from the jaws of victory. Again.

What a great game.

Well done Eng.

Santner delivers again, SERIOUSLY bad luck, the game looked like it was ours again until that moment.

Well done Kane, hard to criticise an effort like that.

The bowlers Boult, Sodhi and Southee closing out did really well to restrict the total. Unfortunately our middle order just isnt up to scratch, Taylor back Wednesday. Nicholls over due, Latham could be replaced with Phillips for keeper but I think they will stick with him regardless. At least Taylor makes it feel a bit stronger and knowing Santner is consistently performing at the back end is very encouraging, just need Colin to get back to form.

Yeah some decisions were a bit dubious. We do have a few players better than chapman, Im not sure why hes getting picked ahead of Phillips, maybe because Latham is keeper, but maybe not being keeper might give him less to think about.

But yes, really dissapointing from some players that havent contributed for this whole series.

But positives to be had. Got to try to be positive hehe.
